Now Iron Double Strength is a dietary supplement that helps to suppress iron requirements, being particularly useful in cases of anemia. It contains Ferrochel® iron bisglycinate, an easily absorbed form of iron, with low molecular weight, stable, non-reactive and without negative effects on the stomach and intestinal walls, making its prolonged use safe.

It is contraindicated for people with hemochromatosis and hemosiderosis. People with anemia should consult their doctor before starting iron supplementation. People with a history of kidney disease, intestinal disease, peptic ulcer, enteritis, colitis, pancreatitis, hepatitis, who are planning to become pregnant or are over 55 years old and have a family history of heart disease should also consult a doctor before starting supplementation.
