With a unique history of respect for the ecosystem of bees and nature, based on naturalness, effectiveness and community, Apivita Dermatological Laboratories launched cosmetic products in 1972 with a visionary approach, concerned with sustainability and the consumer, offering a diversity of biodegradable and highly natural products.
Sustainability presupposes concern for present generations, but also for future generations, ensuring quality of life for all. It is by protecting the vital resources that we have today that we will achieve economic growth that is friendly to the environment and to people. Today, we are witnessing a growing concern among consumers in the search for products that include more environmentally friendly production policies, as we all know that our planet is at risk and that we must contribute to reducing the environmental impact.
50 years ago, Apivita's pillars already followed the premises of sustainability: concern for the environment, society and the economy; starting with the formulation of its products using natural ingredients and ending with their recycling, practicing all sustainability policies:
- Looking for alternative green formulations and ingredients through the traceable and local supply of raw materials, with greater control in terms of production/cultivation and transport. Ingredients of natural origin should preferably come from crops and harvests from renewable sources with a low ecological footprint.
- Manufacturing processes must be safe and non-polluting, using recycled and recyclable packaging. Glass and metal packaging are the easiest to recycle, but plastic can also be recycled. Choose PET, PETE (polyethylene terephthalate) and HDPE (high-density polyethylene). Paper is one of the most environmentally friendly materials used in product packaging. It is recyclable, renewable and biodegradable, so it is important to use this material whenever possible, with Sustainable Forest Management certification.
- Developing Green Marketing Strategies that contemplate the production of environmentally friendly products and services and the development of activities that are related to environmental protection.
- Ensuring energy management, waste and water for reduced climate impact.
- Ensuring greener supply chains. This implies minimizing product waste, with optimized transport logistics in the distribution of products across various countries around the world.
Natural cosmetics have been making headlines regarding their advantages, combined with advances in high technology, ensuring that natural ingredients are safe, effective and have excellent cosmetic appeal, allowing them to increasingly become the first choice for informed consumers who are aware of the need to reduce their environmental impact.
At Apivita, you can find products, such as soaps, that contribute to reducing water and energy consumption, as well as being free from controversial ingredients that may be associated with contributing to the pollution of our planet. With eco-responsible packaging, which contributes to reducing and eliminating plastic consumption.
Discovering or reinventing is the focus of our laboratories, which seek a more ecological response. As consumers, it is important for us to act by making conscious, careful and correct choices in favor of sustainability.
Be eco-responsible and help us reduce our environmental impact.
